AID STATION: 2014 is your year! We are now 13 days into January and you are already on your way! I want to congratulate you for the decision you’ve made. Before you change your physical condition, you have to change your mind. I want to encourage you that you have made the right choice. After all, you only have one life to live…go get it!
So why are you a champion?? Let me remind you what you have done so far….
1. You have recognized that good is the enemy of great.
2. You have decided that you are going to improve your physical fitness in 2014.
Whatever it is you have done these last 13 days, keep doing it! Most studies reveal that it takes 21 days to form a new habit, but I disagree.
Here’s the thing, you’re not just trying to form a new habit but rather implement a new lifestyle. Get used to the idea of building your activity level a little each and every day. Habits come and go, but lifestyles rarely change. You have taken the most important step toward accomplishing your goal, YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND HAVE STARTED!
