Passion is the result of perseverance.
Perseverance is the decision that must be made to overcome pain.
Pain is the result of change.
Pursuit is what causes pain.
Potential is the reason for the pursuit.
On the other side of passion is your purpose. Your purpose will not be perfect, but it must BE. Today’s post is a setup for a series to follow on passion. Passion is what gives you the desire to inspire. Passion drives you when the odds are stacked against you. Passion makes those around you better. You must discover your passion, because without it you will never find your purpose.
Passion and purpose go hand in hand and my passion has given new meaning to my life. My passion introduced me to the healthiest version of myself that I had ever experienced in my previous 25 years. Passion led me to the love of my life in my life. Passion has allowed to me to see parts of this amazing world that I would have never dreamed of. Passion has given me a platform to serve in a capacity much larger than I would have ever anticipated.
Passion is absolutely essential, so let’s get on with the series! To give you a sneak peak going into the weekend, my passion just so happens to be the sport of triathlon.
My passion has led me to develop a personal mission statement and that is
TO ENCOURGE AND INSPIRE OTHERS TO SEE CHANGE AS A BLESSING AND NOT A BURDEN.
Here are a few pictures of my passion. If you are in any way similar, I want to provide some practical advice in this next blog series related to the endurance sports world.
