Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for those American soldiers who fought and died during battle in service to our country. That much you probably know, BUT….
An interesting fact that I was unaware of, is that the official birthplace of Memorial Day is Waterloo, New York! Officially declared by President Lyndon Johnson in May of 1966.
Now that you have been thoroughly “wowed” with new information (ha!ha!) let’s apply the theme of this blog to the meaning of this special day.
