AID STATION: Ok, you’ve made a decision and you’ve developed an incredible “why?” Now its time to develop a plan. Your plan is the path that will move you from where you are now to where you want to be. Your plan will serve as your daily method of operation. Your plan is the foundation for your future fitness. What is your plan for rebuilding your body in 2014?
We’ve all heard the statement “if you fail to plan you plan to fail.” I know it sounds a bit cliche, but there is truth in the statement. Please allow me to articulate…
What form of exercise will you be in engaging in? (Will you change it up or keep it constant?)
What time of day will you train? (You will be more likely to implement if the timing is consistent!)
Will you train alone or with a group? (You know what they say about accountability!)
How will you measure your progress? (What gets measured, MATTERS!)
These are just a few suggestions from personal experience. If you have made the decision and developed a why, then a plan is the next ingredient. Oh yeah, do you have it written down?
Next post will be “how to create an exercise plan!”
