Yes YOU…(and me, even despite my soon-to-be launched manuscript “The Problem with Perfect!”)
I still struggle with perfection. I still struggle with purpose. I definitely struggle with living perfectly on purpose! This is why I have designed this next blog series to be a practical step by step guide for living life on and with purpose.
The cold harsh reality is that you will NEVER be perfect. I love Tony Robbins’ quote on this matter: “Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.”
Perfection was never intended to be the goal of life. Perfection is nothing more than an excuse to remain the same. You will never do anything different in life until the pain of same exceeds the pain of change.
I am the stereotypical perfectionist and I need these practical steps just as much as the next person. I truly hope that you find value in this next series. As a matter of fact, I would love for you to share your experience as you make your way through these next several weeks.
On Wednesday, we will begin this 6 part series entitled: “Life on Purpose.”
Would you be so kind as to comment in the section below.
