Your Manifesto Matters (but don’t take my word for it!)

As we continue to discuss the power of purpose, I want to make absolute certain that you understand the value of a manifesto. I said it once (but I could say it everyday for the rest of my life!) What I am more concerned about is that you hear it!

Have you ever been in a conversation with your spouse or significant other and said something that you felt was perfectly clear? Perhaps later in the week or even month, he or she came back to you and shared the incredibly beneficial advice they just received from a friend…Only to discover that this was the exact advice that YOU yourself gave during the original conversation??? I find myself in this situation with my wife more often than I would like to admit. Rather than holding onto my pride and insisting that I was the original source of that “life-changing” advice, I try to shift my focus to gratitude in that ultimately she got the message!

My manifesto is personal and is the result of my near death experience in 2006. My manifesto is very unique and gives me clarity of focus. It has been so beneficial in my life over the last 10 years that I want to share with you, BUT…I am not naive enough to think that I am the only person in this entire world that stands to open your mind to the power of crafting your own manifesto.

So, I’ll get on with the post now!

A guy that I respect tremendously wrote a post on this specific matter that I would like to share. Jeff Goins is a superstar in the world of social entreprenuership. He has built a huge platform in a relatively short period of time. He wrote this post on his blog and I highly recommend that you read it. I got a ton of mileage out of it and I think you will as well!
