Still Not Sure?

The ball has dropped and 2015 is now in full swing, but are there still some changes that need to be made? The window for New Year’s resolutions is now tightly closed, right??

I dunno??

I dunno??

WRONG!!!

Today is Monday, January 5th and the world would tell you that you should have already recorded your list and taken action. Don’t believe the hype, after all we are talking about YOUR RESOLUTIONS. You are in control of what matters most in the year ahead. With this in mind, do not put unnecessary and unproductive pressure on yourself. Why would you willingly set yourself up for failure based on standards that are not your own? Who said that resolutions had to be on a specific day anyway?

If you are still a bit unsure as to exactly what needs to change in the year ahead, relax…breathe, it will be ok!

So we are now 5 days into 2015 and if you still have a desire to make some changes, might I suggest the following advice:

First, make a concerted effort to record whatever it is that’s consuming the majority of your thoughts. What matters most is where your thoughts play host.

Second, take inventory of your time and money. Wherever it is that you spend time and money is a reflection of where your priorities lie. If you are content with the current destination, great..how can you improve upon the current situation? If not, what are some other areas of your life that might benefit from more time or money?

Third, tell somebody! Accountability is an incredible asset. Tell yourself you will change and you’ve made a decision; tell others and you’ve now made a commitment. If nothing else, you will hold yourself to your commitment to avoid letting that person down.
