Prioritization

Today’s post is part 5 of a 10 part series, “10 Surrender Strategies

Are you a multi-tasker? Do you take in pride in your ability to do 3 things at once? Just this past week, I noticed a lady in her car talking on a cell phone, drinking a cup of coffee and smoking a cigarette…need I say more?

When it comes to successful surrender, choice is of the essence! Every day is filled with choices and decisions must be made. Before you put yourself in a situation that requires decisiveness, you might consider your priorities. As we continue our discussion on surrender strategies, knowing what you value MOST in life will work wonders. When we prioritize, we decide what matters most and therefore how we will react in all possible situations. There is far too much at stake for you to wake up in the morning and follow your feelings all day. Preparation always leads to enhanced performance and this is not limited to competition by any stretch of the imagination.

As you read this installment, consider your priorities. If I were to ask you tomorrow morning what the most important aspect of life to you might be, could you answer? Better yet, if I were to observe your actions on any given day, could I decipher your priorities? Remember, you cannot do EVERYTHING you desire to do every single day. You most certainly can do the most important things every day. The beauty of this realization…YOU GET TO CHOSE!

Pick your priorities and resign the rest.
