Your #1 Goal for 2015

Now is the MOST popular time of year to be discussing goals. I’m not going to quote the statistics on failed resolutions, we all know the results are less than stellar. Rather than asking you to consider your goals for the entire year ahead, I’m simply going to suggest one: (dare I be so bold!)

If you have not gotten anything out of the last month of my blog posts, I hope you hear this:

YOUR GOALS WILL NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE PERFECT, BUT YOU MUST PLAN TO FIND YOUR PURPOSE….

A fish out of water, a cat that barks, an airplane on the interstate…these make no sense, this much we know. BUT, let me dig a bit deeper with regard to your current position in life:

Are you an artist working as an administrative assistant? How about an engineer buying time as a software salesperson. Perhaps you’re a tech geek trapped in the role of an accountant? These mismatches are not as easy to identify as our previous example but no less significant. How much longer are you going to wait?

So, I say again with bold confidence…you must take the steps necessary to find your purpose in 2015. Living in the center of your purpose will bring you passion, productivity and makes the lives of those around you better.

Potential is nothing more than wasted talent so get to chasin’! It will not be easy, if it was you would already be there. It will not be fun, why else would I write this post! It will not be comfortable, but then again life is not supposed to be.

You have a choice to make (yet again) today…do the same as what you’ve done for the last 365 days, or do something different and experience a start to a new year unlike anything you have experienced before.

I’m pullin’ for ya!
