No matter how good or bad the first quarter of 2015 was for you, it is time to start over. You may have conquered the world or lost everything. The point is, it is now water under the bridge. You cannot live your live in memory of the past. Now is all you have and today marks the first step of the rest of your life.

Starting over is hard because it involves change. January, February and March are now in the history book of your life. At some point during the last 90 days you probably worked yourself into a routine. Now, this can be a good thing when it comes to setting goals and remaining focused. On the flip-side this can be detrimental. Perhaps you got off track early and decided to give up all together? Well, it is now April and we are in a brand new quarter. And for that matter it is 10 days into the second quarter, which is plenty of time to have already developed another bad habit.

This post is all about starting over. You do not have the luxury of living yesterday over. Your life is not Groundhog Day and you are not Bill Murray! I have been writing to you on the general concept of change. Change involves pain and pain is something that we tend to avoid. Let me encourage you that pain is a sign that you are making progress. Starting over marks the beginning of new journey on which you will experience pain.

Today is April 10, 2015 and today is the day that you begin to close the gap between your current position and where it is you so desire to be. You don’t have to have it all figured out today, but do you have to make a move. Life is too short to remain confined to your comfort zone. So go out there today and make something (anything for that matter) happen. If it doesn’t go as planned, keep your head up and know that you have the power to start over at any point, BUT YOU MUST DECIDE AHEAD OF TIME!
