Meet the Author, Bo Parrish

Bo Parrish, AuthorBo Parrish is no stranger to starting over.

In the fall of 2006, he nearly lost his life to a 13 year battle with Crohn’s Disease. He spent the first 10 years of his professional career as a retail financial advisor before changing his focus to coaching. Change has been a theme of Bo’s life and he has thrived despite setbacks along the way having battled both physical and emotional adversity.

He is now a globally-sponsored elite triathlete with Timex, Powerbar, Newton Running and Trek Bicycles. He has delievered keynotes to such famed organizations as the IMG Academy and Timex Group USA while building the first-ever marketing department for the investment research company; Dorsey Wright and Associates.

Bo’s life is an example of the blessing that change can bring. He writes on a weekly basis about change on his website, Bo Parrish. He has been featured as the cover story for The Phoenix Magazine (July 2014) and Dorsey Wright’s Daily Equity and Market Report. He is a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Association Speakers Bureau and speaks nationally on the topic of overcoming adversity.

Bo and his wife Mari-etta recently became parents to twin boys, Tro & Charlie.  The Parrish family lives in Nashville along with their 9 year old boxer, Chief.
